A tale of two cities – Toronto and Vancouver gang violence.

Toronto is facing a major spike in gang-related shootings to the point where the city is on edge.

It is one of the worst shooting sprees in history.

Meanwhile, in Vancouver things are relatively quiet.

Unlike a few years ago when there were several deadly shootings a week.

And most of those shooting were the result of deadly gang wars as various factions were trying to gain control of other gangs’ territories.

But for the time being that seems to have stopped.

But Vancouver gangs are still thriving.

And now they are recruiting 10-year old children and using them as drug runners.

The revelations come after two teens – one aged 16, the other 17, were killed in targeted shootings.

A report in the Globe and Mail said:

“Dwayne McDonald, the assistant commissioner in charge of the Surrey RCMP, told a news conference police have learned they are missing a vital opportunity if there is no effort to start discouraging children from gang involvement in the elementary school years.
