The latest gang incursions into legitimate businesses are an example of what happened in the casino industry.

WHAT IT MEANS

Organized crime has had its tentacles into the inner workings of two major B.C. industries.
The government has promised decisive action in each instance. However, politicians often promise action and then don’t follow through in a meaningful manner.
Time will tell.
And in the meantime, the government needs to even more vigilant than in the past because organized crime is looking for the next industry to infiltrate, if it hasn’t already.
