Let alone deal with it.

Her son Charley, 22, developed meningitis.

But Tamara pulled through and so did both of her children.

Broadcaster Tamara Stanners A Gentle Tough Soul
In my interview with her she talks about:
That horrifying day when her daughter was burned a campfire.
The day her son developed meningitis.
How she coped through it all.
How she rose from it all.
What she learned from it.
How her hippie style philosophy has carried her through life.
The challenge of organizing and producing a big new music festival for about 7,500 people next year in Squamish.
And what she does when those dark clouds hit her.
How life often has taken her to unexpected paths.
About her son Charley, now following his passions.
How music helped her daughter Sammy recover.
That a lot of people think she is naive and crazy.
And today living away from the hurley burly of Vancouver in the tranquil setting of her house in Brackendale, outside Squamish, Tamara has discovered a dream come true.
And how the terrible tragedy that befell Sammy got her to do something.
It was amazing and inspiring.
She recorded a song – The Phoenix – under artist moniker Valor Grey.
Tamara Stanners – a woman of true grit, full of compassion and love, navigating the world around her no matter what it brings.
