Good morning :
People do the strangest things. Take Summer Redstone – one of the world’s richest men who is quite old. He uses his iPad for a very specific purpose that will have you chuckling.
The old saying spring has sprung is so true – especially the stunning April blooms of our northern hemisphere.
Never hold a grudge. Always forgive – a well known motto. And one Canadian hotel did that with one of its guests – 17 years later.

NAFTA DEAL COMING OUR WAY – WHY NOW?

THE STORY

The Trump administration wants a NAFTA deal and is beating the drums to signal it will happen.
Even Canada’s senior NAFTA official agrees.

THE SETTING

The question is why?
Trump has imposed sanctions on China and the Chinese have retaliated where it hurts the most with major job losses.
Those job losses are pegged at 190,000.
And if NAFTA would not happen there would be further major job losses. So a NAFTA deal would minimize the job losses.

WHAT IT MEANS

A NAFTA deal is good news for our economy and means at least 55,000 jobs would not be lost – a scenario that would unfold in the absence of a NAFTA deal.
