Business Of Killing Animals Is Still Thriving:
Big game hunting – the killing of beautiful animals continues to thrive.
Especially in Africa where lions, rhinoceros, giraffes, leopards are prized by hunters who shell out fortunes allowing them to kill these magnificent animals.
And although big game hunting is not as prevalent in North America it is still strong.
For example, it was only after the new NDP government in British Columbia was elected that the practice of grizzly bear hunting was eliminated.
And despite that – petitions with hundreds of thousands of names on them presented to the previous Liberal government were ignored.
And to this day several Canadian provinces still allow big game hunting and even advertise it.
In Africa big game hunting is big business. And endless ads promote the practice.
Especially prized are what is known as the Big Five – the elephant, cape buffalo, lion, rhinoceros, and leopard.
But the industry knows public opinion is against Big Game hunting.
One has to wonder why these hunters want to kill these wild animals?
And although Big Game hunting is not in vogue in North America the Trump administration recently allowed the hunting for Big Bear in Alaska – something that had been banned since 2015.
